-I was employed as a Tiger Teams manager at Velocitel Inc.; Turf Vendor for at&t. In the Tiger Teams department I responded with ultimate urgency to integration-ceasing issues usually related to faulty equipment, commissioning scripts, or workmanship. I worked with crews directly & assisted with remote troubleshooting & resolution. I had heavy focus on technical expertise but also kept strict adherence to P&L. Our turn-around time from notification to resolution for the client was the best in the region. I’d also served as an LTE & UMTS Construction Manager for Velocitel directing & supervising crews building LTE & UMTS expansion which often involved replacing towers & overcoming the associated endless obstacles of managing many replacements at one time. I utilized countless resources including construction drawings, RFDS, & OOM. Balancing workflow, scheduling all work with Contractors, inspections, forecasting construction & a multitude of other milestones, meeting aggressive deadlines, meeting challenges with superior customer service & interaction, & completing detailed reporting & close-outs. -For Mycom, I had approximately 1 year of experience managing construction and technician crews for at&t, and T-Mobile, as well as Sprint LTE cell sites. I’ve worked on every project from UMTS T1’s, UMTS expansion to, TELLABS & ALU SIAD installation, Provisioning, Integration, T1 circuit growth, fiber circuit growth, LTE, and every aspect of the new equipment implementation. -For TEK Systems I‘ve worked on contract for at&t, Comcast cable and other telecom companies. I worked in at&t cell sites implementing T1's, L2 testing with a JDSU 9000 T1, T3, fiber, and Ethernet analyzer, loading and editing SIAD configuration files, all aspects of implementing the SIAD unit, troubleshooting and resolving issues with connectivity, and all other aspects of at&t's network expansion. I worked with ALU techs and Project Managers on site for integration of SIAD unit. I installed network equipment and modules into equipment racks and ran cables such as COAX, CAT-5/6, fiber-optical, ethernet, & copper power wire in Central Offices and Switches. Worked with Cisco 10K Router, ARPD, VOD, & Path-track. I also did Node segmentation. I Installed equipment for distribution of Internet, Broadcast, Narrowcast and Video On Demand. I installed Aurora forward & lasers to move legacy Analog nodes to Digital Video distribution. I installed 2,4 & 8 way Splitters, Combiners & Amplifiers for Broadcast & Narrowcast Feeds. -For ADC I’ve worked on temporary contracts for at&t and other telecom companies. I installed various equipment in switches and cell sites, including seismic zone 3 racking, from the ground up. From drilling the holes, placing/shimming the racking straight & Level, bolting them down, grounding the frame, installing the equipment, running the power, constructing fiber management troughs/downspouts/etc, running fiber-optic cables, 25-pair tip & ring, 12-pair coax, & installing the various connectors. I also laced all the cabling into frame horns, ladder racking or other cable management, I custom built all uni-struts and frame mounting pieces, and all to strict at&t standards & protocols. I also passed the ATT-TP76300 installers quiz and did much reading into & familiarizing with ATT-TP76303 engineering manual. UMTS, TELLABS, ALU experience.

-For MJH Enterprises I traveled the country on temporary contract for Alltell wireless; a predominantly East coast cellular phone company. My work took me to Seattle, WA, Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, New Orleans & Baton Rouge, LA, and Raleigh & Greensboro, NC. I ran and supervised a crew of 3 driving a 26,000 lb GVW truck de-installing analog cellular frames containing sensitive components and various power and communication cables with the utmost of care and safety. We completed roughly 7 cellular tower sites per day, and performed various other tasks for the carrier.

-Tecom was a great place to work. I did a variety of tasks with high responsibility and little to no supervision. I worked directly in conjunction with local news channels and government officials. This included setting up and troubleshooting 3 different large P.A. systems with wireless microphones, audio/visual equipment & telephone/teleconference bridges. I set and checked calendars for customers using Outlook, performed administrative assistance, maintained confidential office files and prepared reports for building maintenance.

 

-Ciber was my favorite place to work. The company picked me up after they won a contract from my previous employer; Tecom Inc. They only picked up about 50% of the previous employees, and I was fortunate and proven well to make the cut. I performed a lot of the same job duties that I did with Tecom, except I moved on from sound engineering to Database management. My rate of pay was and my responsibilities were both increased dramatically.
